The Session is a body that is composed of ordained Elders who serve 2 year terms and act as the "governing" body of the church.

Generally, the Session oversees the business and activities of the church in functions that include Facilities Management, Christian Education, Mission and Outreach, Fellowship and Hospitality, Membership and Evangelism, Finance, Personnel and Worship.

Each Elder who sits on Session functions as the chair of the commission charged with responsibility to do the work in each of these areas. Session and Deacons comprise the leadership groups in the church, each body dispensing its unique responsibilities to support the life of the church and to offer service to the community at large.
